Christening

Every christening photo — from your guests, in one gallery

Baby's big day happens fast. A single QR code on the tables collects every photo your family and friends take.

A christening has a privacy problem the other occasions do not. The person at the centre cannot consent to anything, the guests are almost entirely family, and the photos are of a baby in a named church on a known date — which is exactly the material parents do not want sitting on a public album link.

Two things handle that here. The gallery is unlisted and carries a noindex tag, so it never appears in search results and cannot be found by guessing; only the QR code or the link opens it. And location and camera metadata is stripped from every file before it appears, so the coordinates of the church, or of your home if photos were taken there, do not travel with the images. If you would rather approve each photo before the rest of the family sees it, moderation holds uploads in a private queue until you release them.

Updated 25 August 2026

A christening is a day of small, quiet moments — the blessing, the candle, the first family portrait — caught on a dozen phones and then scattered. A christening photo gallery keeps them together: guests scan one QR code and upload in seconds, so nothing gets lost between relatives.

It runs in any phone browser, so godparents and grandparents can add their photos without installing a thing. Afterwards the parents download the whole album as a single ZIP, to keep alongside baby's first pictures.
