Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 July 2026

This policy explains what personal data GamePrep processes and why. We keep collection to the minimum needed to run the service.

Who is the data controller

Paweł Dziura (sole proprietorship, “Działalność Ogólna”), Poland. Contact: gameprep@benchkithq.com.

What we collect

  • Account data — if you create an account: your email and a securely hashed password.
  • Practice results — your game scores, attempts and progress, so we can show history and percentiles.
  • Essential cookies — a session cookie, a CSRF token, an anonymous identifier that lets us save guest scores without an account, and a record of your cookie choice. These are needed for the site to work and are always on. We set no advertising cookies and do not track you across other websites.
  • Analytics — only if you accept — we use Google Analytics to see which pages get used. It is off by default: the script is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set unless you press Accept. You can change your mind at any time via Cookie settings in the footer.
  • Usage counts — on our own servers we record which steps happen on the site (a page was viewed, a game was started or finished, the pricing page was reached), together with the anonymous identifier above, whether you are on a phone or a desktop, and which site you arrived from. No new cookie is set for this and nothing is sent to another company. We keep these records for six months and then delete them. We use them to see where people give up, which is the only way to know what to fix.
  • What you tell us — only if you choose to — after a game we sometimes ask one short question and offer a box to answer it. Answering is entirely optional, nothing is withheld if you skip it, and we never ask for your email there. We store what you type, which question it was, how many games you had played and whether you had seen the pricing page — so an answer can be read in context. It is never attached to your account, even if you have one. We delete these after twelve months, or sooner if you ask.
  • Payment data — if you buy Premium, payment is processed by Stripe; we do not store card numbers.

Why we process it (legal basis)

To provide the service you request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — contract), to keep it secure and working (Art. 6(1)(f) — legitimate interest), and, for Premium, to meet legal/accounting obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)). The usage counts we keep on our own servers rest on legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) — they use the identifier the site already needs, add no storage on your device, are never shared, and are deleted after six months. If you answer the optional question after a game, that answer rests on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — given by choosing to send it, and withdrawable by asking us to delete it. Google Analytics also runs on your consent alone (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time — withdrawing is as easy as giving it and does not affect anything you did before. Playing the free games without an account requires no personal data beyond the essential cookies above.

Sharing & processors

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with processors that help run the service: our hosting provider, Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery) and — only if you accepted analytics — Google Analytics. Google may process this data outside the EEA/UK under its standard contractual clauses.

Retention

Account and practice data are kept while your account is active; delete your account and we remove them. Billing records are kept as long as tax/accounting law requires.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and can object to processing. Email gameprep@benchkithq.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority (PUODO).

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above.
